What I thought would "never happen to me" happened. A car who saw me and stopped, decided at the last second that "he could make it" and shot out, then, noticed the car passing on my left and stopped dead in front of me.
I only had seconds to react. Aarons voice came to me like Obi Wan & "the Force" {don't grab the brakes (Be Smooth), fingertips only, etc.}
Thanks to my CFLMT excellent training I knew what to do, and circumvented what could have been a fatal (for me) crash. I had a choice to T-bone the car or lay her down. While mainintaing control during breaking I chose option B which turned out to be the wiser choice. I had managed to position myself so that although I was laid down, I would miss the car completely. However, as I slid in front of the car bozo decided to gun it, and caught the front of the bike, (I saw his front tire coming right at my head). Suddenly, the back end of the bike swung around and catapulted me up the highway (US 1) the bike was completely totaled. I walked away with some road rash, and some bulging discs in my lower back, but ALIVE!
Witnesses (including an off duty policeman) all commended me and said I did everything right. I gave full credit to Aaron at CFLMT (and God of course)

I want to thank you again for all your patience and encouragement this past weekend. After taking the class at the ****** Dealership, I truly was considering crossing motorcycles off my list of vehicles.
Your classroom instruction was much more informative than at the ****** Dealership. It was obvious how much you love the sport. On the range when you demonstrated the techniques you wanted us to practice, your riding ability and preciseness were obvious. With your patience and instruction, I was able to pass the quick stop with a 1 point penalty. When I was practicing and I over reved the engine, I was ready to throw in the towel. But you patiently explained to me what I had done incorrectly, so I understood what not to do, and that the key to the exercise was that I only needed to use my finger tips to work the front brake smoothly. Aaron, you have the gift of teaching and the patience of a saint!
Manny was excellent at explaining how the exercises were to be accomplished and answering questions to clear up any confusion. He was very good at giving positive reinforcement and also showed extreme patience with each class member.

I wanted to drop a note for both yourself and Manny to say on behalf of Matthew and I thank you very much for the course last weekend.
We both very much enjoyed ourselves and think you were both excellent in the way everything was conducted. It was an extra proud moment for me to see Matthew do so well on his motorcycle testing. I did also return the assessment form in the back of the manual, as you had asked, with what are the appropriate high marks and positive comments. You achieve a high percentage passing rate because of the quality in how you teach - "they" just need to understand that!

I would like to express my grattitude for your school. I feel that your
team of instructors are what is going to set your school on top of the rest.
You have done a great job with us in class and on the course.
April was very helpful with all the scheduling and rescheduling in order to
get us our certificates. Your team puts everyone at ease and makes it easy for new riders to build confidence to help their abilities when riding. You guys also help experienced riders see what we have been doing wrong and helps load us with the knowledge to keep us from being a statistic on the road. I thank you all for everything and know that I am recommending your course to everyone I know.

| Patrick M. Titusville, FL. | I just wanted to say thanks for the great class last week. After spending some time on my bike I can definitely see where your training has benefited my riding. I’m very comfortable on the motorcycle and I don’t have to think twice about any of the controls. I have already been able to try out many of the things you taught the class, including the quick stop, which I might not have been able to perform successfully without the training you provided.
It was an excellent class and knowing your experience on a motorcycle gave me confidence that you were teaching me the right things to do. I will definitely recommend your class to anyone looking to learn to ride.
